Flagfox is an add-on for Mozilla Firefox that shows, in the browser´s own statusbar, the flag of the country where the server of the web you are visiting is located.

In addition to being a decorative element, Flagfox also works to quickly know via which countries you are moving as you browse the web. The main advantage of the Flagfox add-on is that it hardly consumes resources (you won´t even notice it is installed). It works by simply accessing an IP address database that already comes integrated in the add-on.

Also, clicking on the Flagfox icon lets you access information through GeoTool, a geographic location tool that tries to get more information abouot the IP address of the website you visit, and can even sometimes show you on Google Maps.
